A New Zealand tourist group visited the Gumiao River Grand Canyon Scenic Area in Huayuan County, Xiangxi Prefecture on November 12, and the stunning canyon scenery impressed foreign tourists.
The Gumiao River Grand Canyon is a national 4A-level scenic area, including Nianzigou Waterfall, Qidieshui Waterfall, Wenshi Cave, high-altitude glass walkway, and other scenic spots. It’s famous for steep cliffs, cascading waterfalls, gurgling streams and lush forests.
While walking along the winding trail, tourists could appreciate the beautiful scenery and relax themselves in the natural oxygen bar.
“Today, both the scenery and weather are good, and we are also looking forward to visiting Biancheng Town at the junction of three provinces. We expect to explore interesting stories in the upcoming journey,” said Victor, one of the New Zealand tourists who came here with his family. They praised the unique mountains, rocks, waterfalls and other views in the canyon. They couldn’t wait to explore the stories of Cui Cui and appreciate the scenery of the ancient town.
